Rangers fan pulled back after attempting to invade the pitch during Celtic celebrations

This was the moment when a Rangers fan had to be brought back to the stands at the Ibrox as Celtic players celebrated Cameron Carter-Vickers’ goal.

The Hoops beat their historical rivals 2-1 as they took a giant leap to the Premiership title on Sunday afternoon.

Aaron Ramsey opened the scoring after just three minutes for the hosts.

But the guests responded quickly when Tom Rogic hit him from close range after saving Allan McGregor.

The game went well for most of the first half.

However, just one minute after the timeout, the Carter-Vickers struck home after Carl Starfelt was knocked out from a free kick.

The goal secured the first three points for Celtic.

And new footage revealed that a Gers fan was furious at the Celtic celebrations and tried to invade the pitch.

In the footage recorded on Celtic TV, the fan had to be stopped by another fan after Celtic’s winning goal.

The video shows the team celebrating in front of a stand full of Gers fans.

The man got up from his chair and went down the stairs.

He then tried to break through the advertising barrier to land on the ground.

However, another fan managed to stop him in the stands as he was dragged back to his seat in the stands.
