GIOVANNI van Bronckhorst confirmed that Alfredo Morelos, Ianis Hagi and Alex Lowry will miss the Europa League match against Braga.
The Rangers boss will lead Portugal without the trio, whose Hagi and Morelos have been off the pitch for a long time and Lowry is deemed “unavailable”.
Rangers have confirmed that Morelos, who was operated on for a thigh injury, will not play for the remainder of the season.
A club statement announced that he would continue training with the first team in pre-season.
Leaving the field a few weeks after Van Brocnkhorst’s arrival at Ibrox, Hagi will not play a role as he continues to recover.
A surprise player not to be missed, Lowry, who played twice for Scotland Under 19 in March, will be absent from tomorrow night.
Van Bronckhorst confirmed: “Hagi, Morelos and Lowry are also unavailable.
“We need to come up with a game plan for Thursday that works, and that’s our goal.
When asked about Morelos, Van Bronckhorst said: “Treating Alfredo is a hard blow.
“We know the problem and how long it’s been, now we have to go ahead and focus on Thursday.”
