ANGE POSTECOGLOU remains uncertain about forward Kyogo Furuhashi’s return to the first team for Celtic.
The Japanese national team is also cautious about Kyogo’s return.
Japan will face Australia and Vietnam on 24 and 29 March respectively to qualify for this year’s World Cup.
Although Hatate and Maeda formed the roster for matches, the injured Kyogo Furhashi was not included in the squad.
His eligibility was not mentioned at today’s press conference where the team was announced, so Celtic fans were not given any further information about their eligibility.
Speaking last month, Postecglou said: “I will not delay this.
“Kyogo is in his nature, he’s working hard to come back as soon as possible, whether it’s during the international break or soon after, he won’t be far off.
“I have an excellent relationship with the national team coach, I’ve known him for a while.
“He really supported our position and we really supported the national team.
“Kyogo will be the driver for this. He is working hard, but I will not delay him. ”
