JAMES TAVERNIER insists Rangers will fear no one in their last eight Europa League games after beating Red Star Belgrade.
The champions lost 2-1 in a rematch in Serbia but advanced 4-2 overall to continue their outstanding run in Europe this season.
Rangers will explore their opponents for the quarter-finals and semi-finals of Friday’s draw.
And captain Tavernier believes that Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s team can overcome all the challenges that await them.
Tavernier said: “It is an incredible achievement to overcome this obstacle and now enter the quarterfinals.
“It was a difficult evening as we expected, but it was beautiful to experience.
We gave ourselves an incredible advantage by going down 3-0 from the first game.
“The goal conceded really shocked us, it was very soft but we managed to stay calm.
“I talked to the children and made sure we stayed calm.
We tried to limit them as much as possible, but we probably could have played harder and better in the first half.
We knew we could always catch them off guard, we just had to improve the quality in the future.
“Ryan Kent then showed the magic he was capable of and allowed us to achieve this fundamental goal.
Then he gave us the comfort of being three goals ahead again.
“Obviously we want to compete with the best in Europe and what a great trip that would be.
“We just have to wait and see who we get. We will all be watching and it will be exciting.
“We are not afraid of anyone. We are very confident in ourselves and in our team.
“If we are all well, we can challenge the best.
“This is the key. The confidence we have gained from these matches must continue.
“We feel good, but we remain humble and will continue to work hard. We can not wait”.
