The Superior Electoral Court (TSE) announced that the 37,000 votes received by the bitcoin pharaoh were all canceled after he feared this was an imminent situation.
In fact, several former clients of GAS Consultoria voted for Glaidson Acácio dos Santos last Sunday (2), in the first round of the 2022 elections.
This certainly helps his defense to have an idea of the extent of support it can still count on, that is, even if he is not elected, the “Pharaoh” can measure the mood of the people of Cabo Frio, who are still waiting to get their money back.
For many people, the vote for Glaidson represents the hope that he will be released and pay what he owes to customers, even though his company hasn’t been able to cash in on it for over a year.
TSE Reveals That 37,000 Votes In The Pharaoh Of Bitcoins Were Destroyed
Exactly 37,935 votes were cast by voters in the state of Rio de Janeiro for Glaidson Acácio, who ran for the Christian Democratic Party.
As a former minister, he used religion to search for a seat in the Chamber of Deputies in Brasília for the first time.
In Cabo Frio alone, a stronghold of GAS Consultoria, Glaidson received 6,883 votes. In the Lagos region, it also received support in the cities of Armação de Búzios (2,181), Arraial do Cabo (1,181), São Pedro da Aldeia (2,501), among others.
With Glaidson’s votes destroyed, according to information from the TSE itself, his party is losing votes and unable to use them to count the electoral quotient. Voters should understand that their votes for the position of Federal Delegate have been lost.
Glayson’s accomplice and candidate for state deputy, Vicente Gadelha, who received 5,018 votes, also had his candidacy annulled and is out of the 2022 elections.
MPF sues Glaidson for criminal organization and money laundering
Post-election vote nullification isn’t the only bad news the pharaoh gets from bitcoins. Glaidson, who is currently detained in Bangu, Rio de Janeiro, was charged by the Federal Justice Department on Tuesday (4).
The crimes he is accused of are criminal organization, money laundering, misrepresentation and use of false documents.
The complaint was filed with the 3rd Federal Criminal Court of Rio de Janeiro by the MPF, according to the G1, and also cites four other people, including his wife, Venezuelan Mirelis Zerpa, and the ex-pilot of Pablo Escobar, the PF’s target in a recent operation.
Other than Glaidson, all other reported suspects are on the run and wanted by Interpol.
