Midfielder Ederson was sold to Italian club Atalanta for R$117 million. Now Cruzeiro will transfer almost BRL 905,792.16 to investors in the Cruzeiro Token (CRZO) cryptocurrency.
Revealed by Cruzeiro, Ederson had spells with Corinthians and Fortaleza. Despite his short stint with Salernitana, he was very prominent, which led him to move to Atalanta. The athlete’s performance will also return to the Cruise Token.
The transfer will take place through the digital asset linked to FIFA’s solidarity mechanism, which rewards clubs that fund players early in their careers. This way, those who bought the Cruzeiro Token will have access to a share of the percentage the club receives for each player traded.
Cruzeiro Token will distribute almost BRL 1 million to investors
Cruzeiro will now make the first of six payments to holders of Cruzeiro tokens, amounting to R$162,079.38.
Considering the total trade value, each token returns BRL 1.14, representing 6.3% of the asset value, currently trading at BRL 17.97.
Keep in mind that this is just the first distribution of several others to come. Of the more than 200 players participating in the mechanism, 17 negotiations have already been confirmed and new transfers should be distributed.
To participate in the distribution and receive the transfer, CRZO holders must have their tokens in their account before the distribution date, i.e. before December 7, which is on Bitypreço, a cryptocurrency trading platform, or on Liqi, token issuer, can stand.

Frozen transactions for transfer to customers
Scheduled for December 8, the payment process for investors must freeze Cruzeiro Token movements. The break will take place in Bitypreço from midnight on the same day.
Once finalized, the transferred amount will already be available as a balance in reais for all CRZO holders with their account tokens.
The negotiations herald FIFA’s solidarity mechanism with Cruzeiro Esporte Clube. Since launch, 17 athletes have already been traded and will distribute the proceeds to Cruzeiro Token investors. Of these, 3 should have their transfers in the coming weeks.
