Founder of Cardano: Ripple technically offers no value and the XRP community is pathetic

Charles Hoskinson, founder of Cardano, adds fuel to the proverbial fire. He says it makes no sense to partner with Ripple, the company behind the XRP cryptocurrency. Hoskinson is no longer willing to work with a company that “provides no technical or partnership value”.

Statement on the Ripple Process

Hoskinson previously spoke about the lawsuit between the SEC and Ripple, which was not appreciated by the XRP community. According to his own testimony, he suffers a lot of verbal attacks digitally.

According to Hoskinson, the attacks stemmed from his position in the lawsuit, which alleges he cooperated with the SEC, the US regulatory agency. He said that during a live stream yesterday.

December 15 deadline missed

Hoskinson said people who appear to be involved in the lawsuit have informed him that the lawsuit will close on Dec. 15. That deadline was missed and now he is under attack from the XRP community, who are accusing him of being a liar. And this while saying he’s on Ripple’s side.

lies and trolls

He also says that interacting with the XRP community has become challenging over the years, which is why he really doesn’t want to talk about Ripple publicly anymore.

“I was accused of lying and causing another wave of trolls. I don’t know how to interact with the XRP community, I think my statements in the past have been very measured and supportive.”

“Therefore, as we move forward, I will not be answering questions related to XRP under any circumstances. I won’t name the project; I’m not going to say anything about what happens after the XRP case is resolved. I won’t even talk about it if asked about it in the future; I’m just saying no comment.

XRPs are toxic and Ripple technically offers no value

At the same time, Hoskinson pointed out that conspiracy theories related to his involvement in the case were pointless. Namely, he was attacked long after he said the lawsuit over the lack of clear regulation in the cryptocurrency sector was still ongoing.

After making some comments about the problem he was having with the XRP community and the project itself, Hoskinson was labeled a coward. He said ie things like that was previously also about bitcoin developers and did not go to a conference because he was insulted on Twitter.

Hoskinson defended himself, saying there was no point in allowing toxicity into his life and that it was offensive and unhelpful. He added that XRP offers “no partnership or technical value” and called the community toxic and childish.

The comments under this Twitter post sparked a wave of reactions from XRPers. The general trend is that XRPers are getting tired of Hoskinson and selling their ADA because they no longer want to support Cardano.

We wonder if meat will continue to rise, as Americans say, or if Hoskinson and #XRPARMY will leave it at that.
