Better known as “Nilsinho” among Cabo Frio investors, he tried to counter GAS Consultoria and founded BTC Trader. Since being shot, possibly at the behest of the pharaoh of bitcoins, he has shut down his suspicious business.
Thus, customers who have invested with the company complain about scams and demand a refund. Under investigation live coinsRio de Janeiro’s Prosecutor’s Office received numerous complaints, but preferred to refer the case to the Federal Court.
“It is clear that ‘cryptocurrency trading’ is nothing more than a camouflaged outfit to attract investment. BTC TRADER was, in fact, a financial institution incorporated without proper authorization and fraudulently managed by negotiating collective investment contracts without the authorization of the competent authority (CVM), providing false information to investors about the nature of the company.”
The investigation is suspended, with Reporting Minister Joel Ilan Paciornik, who is monitoring the case, ruling that Rio de Janeiro’s criminal court should hear the trial. This is because, according to the minister, the STJ, BTC Trader committed the crime of embezzlement, not against the financial system. The MPF should receive the process for review in the coming days.
In any case, Nilson Alves’ company is under investigation, which promised 10% per month and closed in 2021.
The target of Bitcoin Pharaoh’s assassination group
Investigations by the Rio de Janeiro Civil Police indicate that “Nilsinho” may have been one of the victims of the death squad, commanded by the Bitcoin Pharaoh.
After the failed assassination attempt on Nilson Alves, Pharaoh’s group managed to assassinate Wesley Pessano, in July 2021. With the episode gaining national exposure, Glaidson’s company was shut down by Operation Kryptos, initiated by the Federal Police in August of that year.
The investigation of the crimes continues in court and recently influenced the transfer of Glaidson Acácio to a federal prison in Catanduvas, Paraná. In deciding to remove him from Rio de Janeiro, federal justice deemed it dangerous for the suspect to remain in the state.
