This Tuesday (14), the Suno analysis house was the target of a search and seizure operation ordered by the 42nd Civil Court of São Paulo. The operation took place at five addresses in three Brazilian cities, São Paulo, Porto Alegre and Goiânia.
According to O Globo newspaper, the search and seizure operation was carried out as part of a investigation into alleged manipulation in the real estate fund market.
Analysis company Suno, in which XP has a minority stake, is one of the targets, together with its founder. Tiago Journey and two analysts and influencers.
The research is related to fluctuations in the shares of real estate funds following their publications on their social networks. The goal would be to devalue a Vórtx-managed fund and alert shareholders to Suno Asset’s equity investment.
Although the company has confirmed the Justice Department’s action, it denies any irregularity. Suno is an investment analysis house that provides information on stocks, funds and the financial market in general, with a strong presence on social networks.
“The Suno Group confirms that a search and seizure operation is being conducted in its offices this morning. The company did not have access to the process and so cannot provide further details about the action at this time.
Grupo Suno emphasizes that it is 100% confident in its performance and we are calm and confident in our innocence and the suitability of all our analysts and professionals. We trust that the Ministry of Justice will act and that the investigation will be completed quickly.”

In his explanation, he said that whoever earns the most from cryptocurrency is the creator of Bitcoin, which Reis referred to ironically “genius for selling a good story”.
“I think he’s a genius because he’s managed to sell this whole group a good story, and if you look at it, I don’t know him, no one really knows if he exists or not. But if we’re cold and rational, since he made, he’s not a buyer, he’s a seller.”
