Family member of cryptocurrency investor kidnapped and teeth pulled out: “we want 5 million”

Six men are charged with a violent kidnapping that took place in the city of Sydney, Australia. According to police information, the victim’s teeth were forcibly knocked out while he was tied up.

To stop the torture, the kidnappers allegedly asked for 5 million New Zealand dollars (R$ 16.4 million) from a cryptocurrency investor who is said to be related to the victim. So now the Australian police are investigating which of the two would be the real target of this crime.

Although investors themselves are involved in other kidnapping cases, the above case shows that even close people are at risk. Therefore, it is recommended to maintain discretion, that is, to be discreet about your investments.
