After implementing ChatGPT in Bing, Microsoft would develop a native cryptocurrency wallet for its browser, Edge. The future novelty was submitted by a user named Albacorespecialist in finding resources in test phases.
The published images show that Microsoft’s wallet would support Ethereum, as well as all tokens – including stablecoins – and NFTS found in its ecosystem.
It is very similar to popular wallets such as MyEtherWallet and, to some extent, MetaMask, and it seems that it will also be possible to switch to other EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) based cryptocurrencies.
So there is a good chance of BNB Smart Chain wallet, Polygon and other networks.
Images of Microsoft Cryptocurrency Wallet
According to the images, Microsoft’s cryptocurrency wallet will provide the user with full control over funds. That is, the investor does not have to rely on third parties to take care of his savings.
“Disclaimer: as a tester you use your own money. In the event of a loss of money, Microsoft will not refund any loss. This is a confidential project and no details should be shared externally.”

After creating the wallet, where it is possible to find the recovery phrase, the user gets to the home page. “Happy with the web3 wallet?”asks Microsoft in the lower left corner.
As can be seen, the interface seems quite easy to understand and at the same time it offers all the functionalities that the user needs to access it.

The potential Microsoft wallet will focus on the Ethereum ecosystem. Namely, web3, DeFi, NFTs and stablecoins will be the recommended use cases.
already in the tab “To discover” (Explore) it will be possible to find news about the cryptocurrency sector. With news of the rise of Bitcoin and the problems with the Signature bank, it shows that the screenshot is recent.

More functionality from the possible Microsoft wallet
Finally, another image shows the option to switch networks. The options presented are Ethereum Mainnet and Goerli Test Network. However, it is possible that networks such as Polygon and BNB Smart Chain can be easily implemented as with other wallets.
The last screenshot shows the ability to buy cryptocurrencies within Microsoft’s own wallet. At the moment, Moonpay and the Coinbase broker appear as alternatives.

Therefore, after a record number of hits on Bing with the introduction of ChatGPT, Microsoft also wants to challenge Chrome by introducing a native cryptocurrency wallet in its browser, Edge. However, the novelty has not been officially presented by the company and has no release date.
