What is Gala Music?
Gala Music is a sister company of the Web3 startup Gala Games, which partnered with music producer Larry Dvoskin and publisher Warner Chappel Music. The goal is to bring the never-before-released disc to the market in the form of an NFT collection.

David Bowie has developed an impressive discography. Including 27 studio albums, 11 live albums, four soundtracks and 128 singles throughout his career. Despite his passing in 2016, the singer has at least one unreleased album.
Gala Music plans to release 3,003 NFTs to market a David Bowie-inspired piece of art. The collection will be released on April 14, exactly forty years after the original release of Let’s Dance.
Each NFT gives its owner exclusive access to previously unreleased music by David Bowie who collaborated with Dvoskin in 2002.
How much does this cost?
David Bowie’s more than 3,000 NFTs will be auctioned with no lower price limit. As such, it is difficult to predict exactly how much you will have to pay to get the tokens. In any case, the proceeds will go to a good cause.
This David Bowie-inspired NFT collection isn’t the first to link the superstar’s name to cryptocurrency. At the beginning of September 2022, the singer’s estate had already entered into a partnership with OpenSea, the popular NFT marketplace.
At the time, the plan was to launch an NFT collection called Bowie on Blockchain to raise money for charity. However, this collection received critical acclaim from the developers. Bowie fans believe the move goes against the singer’s principles and beliefs.
