On April 25, 2023, an event open to the public will reveal all products created to deliver Real digital. The date marks a day of activities, which will also showcase the PIX Offline project in Brazil.
The event called Lift Day 2023 brings together several projects created on the fronts of Lift. They are Lift Lab, Learning, Talks and Papers, all fronts responsible for thinking about products and stimulating discussions about products of the Central Bank of Brazil.
For those interested in participating in the event, registration is now open on the event’s official website. As it will be at the headquarters of the Central Bank of Brazil, in Brasília, everyone must identify themselves with a CPF to access the site. In addition, the event will be broadcast live on the municipality’s YouTube channel.
Lift Day 2023 presents possible Real digital products and PIX news with NFC and Qr Code Offline
The event will count on the participation of BC Director Carolina Barros and Paulo Stein (Fenasbac). Initially, the BCB president, Roberto Campos Neto, was supposed to participate, but it is not clear if he will participate in the event.
After that, the first table of the event will show news from Lift Labs, namely the Pix NFC and QR Code Offline, G10 Bank, Pix Credit and a decentralized credit protocol.
Next, a panel of technology partners, including Cielo, IBM, Microsoft, Veritran and Oracle, held a debate on innovations.
At the second table of the event, Lift Labs will once again present its solutions. The presentation of a decentralized microcredit, a DeFi – Liquidity Pool, how interoperability between Real Digital and a public Blockchain will be possible, and the reduction of costs and complexity in the use of CCBs, through the application of smart contracts and stablecoins are planned.
To conclude the morning period, technology partners RTM, Multiledgers, Finansystech, R3 and AWS will present a second discussion panel.
Real digital products presented during the afternoon
On the return of the afternoon event, LIFT Learning, an academia-market alignment environment coordinated by BC to develop research into actionable solutions for the SFN, will present its results.
So Panel 3 starts with the presentations. At 2:30 PM, guests can join Table 3, featuring Mercado Bitcoin, Febraban, Itaú, Santander, and TecBan, who took part in the Lift Challenge to create products for the digital Real.
The last table of the day will be composed by the companies Vert, Aave, Giesecke+Devrient and Visa, who will present more innovations that may arrive in the future of the digital Real.
