Brazil’s largest NFT event expects to host 30,000 people in Ibirapuera Park

On the weekend of June 2, 3 and 4, the iconic Bienal Pavilion in São Paulo’s Ibirapuera Park will host the NFT Brasil event, the first international exhibition of NFTs in the city of São Paulo.

The purpose of the event is to present NFTs as a disruptive tool for environmental, social and artistic expression. In addition, it wants to investigate how the new technology will affect people’s daily lives through new forms of authentication, certification, access and automation, more security, autonomy, privacy and agility.

Participants will be able to learn more about the local and global NFT market, connecting Brazil to the major Web3 markets in the world.

NFT.Brasil, which should host about 30,000 people during the three-day event, will promote lectures and debates from more than 100 specialists from Brazil and abroad.

The event has several spaces in the Bienal pavilion. The first is the International Exhibition of NFTs that will present the ‘Educational Expo’, where concepts and chronology of the emergence of the Internet and Web3’s new tools will be presented.

In second place the ‘Expo Artística e Interativa’, which has a curatorship of more than 100 national and international artists and 50 collections of works in NFT. Another option is the ‘Expo Imersiva’, a space of more than 100m² to promote a sensory experience with immersive art. Finally the ‘VR/AR Gaming Space’, with the discovery of new realities.

There will also be an exhibitor area, happy hour shows with a musical program and artistic interventions after the day’s activities to strengthen the connection with the Web3 community and networking among the participants.

The organizers of the event are the organizers Marco Affonseca, manager of the MAAC Hub, an innovation house focused on Web3 and NFT based in São Paulo; Edvam Filho, co-founder of NFT.Rio and Carabela, co-director of NFT.Rio; Lucas Santiago, founder of NFT.Brasil and director at Carabela; It is Bob Burnquistlegend of skateboarding in the world and partner of NFT.Brasil.

Social impact event

With the aim of promoting inclusion and access to the universe of NFTs, based on an unprecedented collaboration between NFT.Brasil and G10 Favelas (the largest group of favelas in the world), young people from the peripheral regions of São Paulo will be able to create during the event and find out a little more about the segment.

A portion of the proceeds will go to São Paulo communities that are part of the G10 Favelas to provide an educational environment aimed at engaging young people from the periphery in the world of NFT and its applicability.

In addition, event organizers will return part of the event’s revenue to equity investments in the G10 favelas.
