Twitter founder believes US will have a pro-Bitcoin president, but bets on a “dark horse”

With few words, Jack Dorsey this Sunday showed his support for Robert F. Kennedy Jr, the US presidential candidate and big Bitcoin supporter (4).

“He can and he will”the Twitter founder tweeted as he shared an interview of the presidential candidate with Fox News titled “Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. states he can beat Trump and DeSantis in 2024”.

Despite not commenting on Bitcoin in this conversation, Kennedy has openly defended the cryptocurrency on his social networks. Also in April, he claimed that Bitcoin was the savior for the US banking crisis.

The cousin of former US president John Kennedy, Robert is not the only pro-Bitcoin presidential candidate. Ron DeSantis, a leading favorite in this race, is another who uses Bitcoin in his campaign base, but has already come under fire for doing so.

Returning to Jack Dorsey, asked if he supports Kennedy or predicts his victory, the founder of Twitter he answered “both”.

The US has a high chance of electing a pro-Bitcoin president

According to election polls, the US presidential election has three favorites: the former president donald trumpthe current chairman Joe Biden and finally, Ron DeSantisthe current governor of Florida.

In other words, the Jack Dorsey-backed candidate is an underdog in this race and will have to work hard to beat them. Still, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is confident.

“I feel like I have a lot of support compared to other candidates”Kennedy told Fox News. “The Democrats are going to want someone to beat Governor DeSantis and former President Trump.”

Ron DeSantis, another Bitcoin proponent, is closer to being able to change the fate of cryptocurrencies, not just in the US but in the world. During his campaign announcement, DeSantis claimed that Biden will kill cryptocurrencies if re-elected, offering himself as the solution.

Finally, we can also expect the price of Bitcoin to start to correlate with these polls. After all, Biden and DeSantis sound like China and El Salvador respectively to Bitcoin.
