In addition to the SEC lawsuit, the founder of Binance also needs defense against fake news. In a tweet published on Wednesday (7), Changpeng Zhao shared a screenshot of news of his death but classified it as false.
The fake article is written in Chinese and the title already indicates that Changpeng Zhao “died in fierce armed conflict with US police” in the early hours of this Wednesday (7).
The text then points out that Binance’s founder refused to cooperate with the US Attorney’s Office, which attempted to seek new evidence from the billionaire’s home. Zhao actually lives in Dubai.
“At the time, Zhao took an AK-47 from his house and confronted the police. The order to “put down your weapon” was ignored. After that, the team chose to shoot. Zhao and his gang were unable to fight back and were killed by the police.”described the fake news which also includes an image of a dead person being carried in a plastic bag. “Zhao’s body received 27 shots and he died on the spot.”
Binance’s CEO claims the news is fake
This is not the first time fake news in Chinese has hit Binance’s CEO. In March this year, another false report that Changpeng Zhao had been shot dead by the FBI was widely shared in his home country.
Just like last time, Zhao used his social media to deny the news, proving that he was alive.
“Multiple FUDs Happen”aired Zhao, sharing the catch of fake news. “This was widely circulated in Asia saying, ‘I had a fight with a US inspectorate and I looted an AK47. The police then opened fire first and I died…”
“This is the second time I imaginary die in Asia news. The last involved a basement full of BNB.”
After this, the billionaire also disliked the creativity of the fake news authors: “Oh, and I got shot at 27… Who makes this shit up?”
Oh, and I’ve been shot 27 times… Who makes up shit like this?

Minutes later, Zhao even joked with a follower who asked if the 27 shots (shots) would be alcoholic beverages.
“27 shots of tequila would still hurt”Zhao remarked, more relaxed now. “I would be done after 2.”
Finally, returning to reality, the price of Binance Coin (BNB) continues to fall sharply this Wednesday (7), trading at $261. from its platform after the SEC lawsuit.
