The Curitiba Development and Innovation Agency is promoting a discussion about the cryptocurrency market and tokenization with the public through the Digital Transformation event this Thursday (20).
The event will take place this Thursday from 6 p.m. at the Hipe Innovation Center (Avenida Presidente Getúlio Vargas, 557, Rebouças). Free registrations can be done through Sympla.
In addition to cryptocurrencies and tokenization, the theme of the digital Real is discussed, as well as initiatives with technology in the real estate market.
In recent years, the adoption of cryptocurrencies in Brazil has grown enormously, and with the advent of the digital Real, the subject is increasingly becoming the subject of studies.

With a format of lectures followed by a round table, this month’s Digital Transformation – Future Sessions will bring together experts in asset tokenization focused on the real estate market, challenges and opportunities in this market, addressing legal issues, regulations and practicalities.
Opening the event, Brotto Campelo Advogados’ attorney and partner, Natália Brotto, will talk about how real estate tokenization works. In the series, the people of Insignia, the first company in Brazil to offer the sale of fractional properties, present examples of how the market uses tokens in the sector.
Lawyer Adriana Siliprandi is also featured in Digital Transformation – Future Sessions. Specializing in the legal structuring of projects using blockchain technology, she will talk about Hyperledger, a collaborative project that brings together various industries to expand distributed databases in a decentralized network for blockchain, with greater security and reliability in the technology.
She will also talk about Real Digital, a digital currency being developed by the Central Bank to improve the efficiency of the retail payments market and promote competition and financial inclusion for the population with little or no access to banking services.
Round table
The speakers will also participate in a round table, which will also be attended by the holder of the Real Estate Registry Office – 1st Office, Luis Flávio Fidelis Gonçalves, the vice president of the Paraná Institute for Research and Development of the Real Estate and Condominium Market (Inpespar), Leonardo Baggio and the Sebrae-PR Digital Transformation consultant, Graciele Moura Cileo.
Together they will debate and answer questions from participants about trends and opportunities for using tokens for new businesses in the real estate market.
It is worth remembering that Curitiba’s innovation ecosystem is attentive to the cryptocurrency market and Bitcoin technology. For example, in 2021 at an event in Vale do Pinhão, a minister from El Salvador shared details about the adoption of bitcoin as legal tender in the country.
In addition, Curitiba has been studying a way to accept Bitcoin as a means of payment for municipal taxes since 2022.
