In August 2023, Samsung Brasil has planned a new course for blockchain developers through its Ocean initiative, focusing on Ethereum technology.
The course, scheduled in person in Manaus (AM) on August 30, provides developers with intermediate knowledge on the technology. The course is offered in partnership with the State University of Amazonas (UEA).
In July, Samsung had already offered another module for beginners, and now it is progressing in knowledge to train new blockchain developers.

The Samsung Ocean, Samsung’s technology training program, has an open activity program for the month of August. These are free lessons and courses for people from all over Brazil who want to learn more about technology and innovation.
The content is all taught by teachers from the University of São Paulo (USP) and Amazonas State University (UEA), both of which are Samsung’s partners in the initiative.

On August 30, 2023, the “Blockchain Trail: Developing Apps and Smart Contracts for Ethereum Blockchain (Intermediate Module)” will take place in Manaus. Registration is open on Ocean Brasil’s official website.
Artificial intelligence and metaverse also on the radar of free courses with certificates
Artificial intelligence is also a theme that features heavily in Samsung Ocean’s programming this month. There are nine classes in total, four of which are remote and five on the Manaus campus.
Activities cover topics such as AI applied to education, ChatBot development with Python programming language with a focus on tourism, Data Science, Introduction to Smart Chats and Deep Learning.
On August 29 and 30, there will be the Metaverso Trail: Augmented Reality Workshop with Unity – Introduction to AR and Unity (Part 1) and (Part 2), on the respective dates.
