New Ripple position appears to reveal possible IPO

We’ve already written about the rumors in the crypto world that Ripple, the company behind XRP, is planning to issue shares. These shares will be listed on the stock exchange via the so-called Initial Public Offer (IPO). A new post from Ripple seems to be completely in line with these rumors…

Shareholder communications manager

Ripple posted a job opening for a Senior Shareholder Communications Manager who would handle communications with existing and potential investors. This looks promising!

According to the job description, the role involves communicating directly with shareholders and developing strategies adapted to major events, such as mergers, acquisitions and “liquidity events” – a term often used in the context of initial public offerings (IPOs).

What does the vacancy say?

The job advertisement states that the manager will be responsible for creating presentations, fact sheets and other materials designed to inform investors about Ripple’s business prospects and financial performance. These are typical tasks required to prepare a company for an IPO.

In addition, the role would include maintaining a shareholder database and managing quarterly updates, which is typical for a publicly traded company with outside shareholders.

Rumors and plans for an IPO

Ripple has not yet announced any official plans for an IPO. However, Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse said an IPO was a possibility: “We will investigate this once we complete this litigation with the SEC.”

At the end of last month, rumors surfaced that Ripple would announce an IPO at a big party in New York, but that turned out to be a vain hope.
