Emurgo, a founding member of the Cardano Alliance, yesterday announced a partnership with the Institute of Blockchain Singapore (IBS). The aim of this partnership is to promote blockchain education in Singapore.
Emurgo is a company created to drive adoption of Cardano’s Web3 ecosystem. IBS is a social enterprise and online blockchain academy founded in 2018.
Partnership strengthens Cardano’s position in Singapore
The partnership is an important step for Cardano in Singapore. IBS has trained more than 2,000 students from 9 different countries.
IBS is a pioneer in blockchain education in Singapore. The company offers a wide range of courses and programs, including a blockchain consulting certificate program.
Partnership is the beginning of a series of joint efforts
Emurgo and IBS have indicated that they plan to work together on a series of joint efforts to promote blockchain education in Singapore.
IBS also works with other organizations to promote blockchain education. For example, the company works with Skillsfuture, a training provider for the Institute of Banking and Finance.
This collaboration is a positive development for blockchain education in Singapore. This will help introduce more people to blockchain and its capabilities.
Certainly for 6 weeks
This is not Emurgo’s first educational program. In July they announced a Defi masterclass of at least 6 weeks. You read that right: a 6-week e-learning course, 40 hours per week on a subject that can be found extensively on YouTube.
