Prediction for 2024: Will Ethereum Centralization Be a Disaster?

In a recent discussion, Anatoly Yakovenko, co-founder of Solana, expressed concerns about potential challenges for Ethereum and Solana. He suggested on social media that Ethereum could be at risk of becoming centralized as certain parts of the network become too dominant, which would contradict Ethereum’s commitment to decentralization.

Atomic composition in Solana

Yakovenko also highlighted an important aspect of Solana’s design: its atomic composition. This feature ensures that different parts of the blockchain work together smoothly. However, he admits that Solana’s future chances of success could be uncertain if the broader blockchain community does not recognize this feature.

The complex language of Ethereum

In another comment, blockchain expert Qiao Wang criticized Ethereum for using complex language in its marketing that could confuse new developers. Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin agreed, recognizing the need for easier communication, especially for developers, as a complex language could only discourage developers from entering the blockchain space.
