Social Security, here are the increases in 2023. Who earns more from the revaluation

The revaluation of pensions that will start from January 1, 2023 leads to increases in the social security allowance that Italian retirees have not seen since the 1980s. We are talking about a jump from 38 to 150 euros per month. The ordinance signed by the Minister of Economy, Giancarlo Giorgetti, sets the tone for indexing the trajectory of inflation in 2022. We are talking about a readjustment of 7.3%.

The maxi-revaluation of pensions is provisionally calculated, as it was fixed based on consumer prices provided by Istat on November 3, 2022. “But the projection for the months of November and December may be below the real value at the end of A revaluation could therefore go up even further. In this case, pensioners would also see a readjustment next year, as has already happened this year”, writes Il Sole 24 ore.

Check holders “up to 4 times the minimum INPS, which is €525.38 per month”, will take full advantage of the indexation. Those who receive the minimum pension will have a monthly increase of 38 euros net, those who receive 1,000 euros gross will see their treatment increase by 52 euros. Pensions of 1,500 euros gross will increase by 110 euros gross (75 euros net), those of 2 thousand by 146 euros gross, which becomes 100 euros net. As for the richest checks, those of 2,500 euros gross will increase by 180 euros gross (111 net), and pensions of 4,000 euros will increase by 260 euros gross, or 150 euros net per month. Also in 2023, the pension indexation system will be adopted this year.
