SENA’s Emprender Fund’s Crecer Line offers credit sources of up to $50 million with some of the lowest interest rates on the market for early-stage companies.
Entrepreneurs can receive repayable seed capital from the Emprender Fund and repay it within a period of 24 months, including a six-month grace period, at an effective monthly interest rate of 0.49%.
The call is available until November 30 of this year and interested parties can consult the specifications and register on the Fondo Emprender website.
To access this program, companies must be between one and five years old and up to date on their commercial renewal.
The company must not be involved in promotion and/or insolvency law or the like and the legal representative and partners must have a minimum of professional technical training.
One of the Colombian entrepreneurs who has benefited from this program is Andrés Moncada, creator of Hans Sachs.
“The Grow Line came at a very opportune time for the company as it helped us advance stock and we already have December products ready. What we were looking for was to promote the idea that was already running and the process was extremely simple, it is an opportunity not to be missed from a financial point of view,” said Moncada.
Entrepreneurs interested in accessing the Crecer Line must have been beneficiaries of one of SENA’s entrepreneurship services. If they do not meet this requirement, they may participate in the Entity’s Business Strengthening Program and then apply to receive refundable funds.
For his part, Carlos Gamba, SENA’s National Entrepreneurship Coordinator, assures that this is the opportunity to increase the productivity and sustainability of Colombian MSMEs.
“Through this initiative, we have raised over $28 billion in capital and we are extending this benefit to individuals with a commercial establishment, providing a valuable option to continue promoting entrepreneurship in Colombia.
This Thursday in November, the socialization of the Línea Crecer of the Emprender Fund will take place at 8 a.m. and at 6 p.m.
