The Dian’s gross collection was $191.73 billion in October

As of October, Directorate of National Taxes and Customs (Dian) gross collections totaled $191.73 billion representing a positive variation of 35% compared to the same period last year, representing a target achievement of 108, 4%.

Between January and October, 74.3% of the collection was represented by withholding at source as income, with a participation of 33.75%, sales tax with 19.94% and customs duties with the 20.61% participation.

In the same period, the collection of taxes related to economic activity totals $152.20 billion, while the collection of taxes related to foreign trade reaches $39.52 billion.

October gross receipts totaled $14.97 trillion, representing a positive variation of 29.4% compared to the same month in 2021.

In terms of October collection performance, the taxes with the largest participation are highlighted, such as deduction at source as income (45.99%), customs duties (31.22%) and financial movement tax with 6.74% .

In terms of anti-tax evasion actions, a total of $27.6 billion was achieved through management between January and October, of which $21.7 billion corresponds to effective revenue and $5.9 billion to audit management.
