Colombia and Germany promote dialogue on reindustrialization policies

For his part, Felipe Bayón, president of Ecopetrol, stated that “this is a great opportunity for deepen our relations with Germany and increased investment in new energy projects, including renewables and hydrogen, through financing mechanisms offered by the German government.

“In our goal to be a major player in the energy transition of the region, Ecopetrol is very interested in early access to developing new technologies in Germany and generating knowledge transfer for scaling up in Colombia,” said Bayón.
