Anato foresees an increase in passenger flow in 2023

The chairman of the Colombian Association of Travel and Tourism Agencies (Annato), Paula Cortes Street, said this would be presented in a high dollar scenario encouraging the arrival of foreigners; continue to support businessmen to attend international tourism fairs to attract tourists from other countries and promote Colombia; add actions to improve the country’s image; and to encourage trips to places with a tourist vocation.

Regarding the departure of travelers and based on figures from colombian migration, Anato estimates that next year between 5.1 and 5.4 million Colombians will leave the country, which would represent a growth of between 4% and 10% compared to the estimate for the end of 2022, which corresponds to 4.9 million Colombians.

“To achieve these projections, we must continue to work with Civil Aeronautics to increase the country’s international air connectivity; keep promoting, by Travel agencythe trust of tourists,” he added.
