Trust companies close 2022 with a record in asset management

Faced with the fiduciary industry’s efforts to promote savings and investment, FICs at the end of 2022 showed a recovery from 2021, growing 12.59% to $66.73 trillion.

At the end of last year, 2 million investors trusted their resources in FICs Private Equity Fundsrepresenting an annual growth rate of 4.1%.

During the year, more than 81,200 new investors joined these products managed by trust companies.

For their part, the Private Capital Funds (FCP) closed with a balance of $28.71 trillion in assets under management, representing a growth of 23.48% from December 2021.

The management trust, guarantee trust and real estate trust companies accumulate assets of $440.59 trillion, growing at 16.2% annually, and are the major drivers of growth in assets managed by the trust industry.
