I see an incredible dynamic in Barranquilla, the hotels are full, people are on the streets, there is a high level of security, we are proud and we invite all of Colombia to join us,” Puche told EL HERALDO.
At the same time, vicky osorioexecutive director of ProBarranquillastated that the energy sensed from Barranquilla to feel the carnival float will help to amplify the party.
“It’s a great thing, and it’s a great job that consists of inviting everyone to enjoy, to live, since it’s impossible to understand until someone is there,” said Osorio.
He added: “This is a great tool for us because when we invite people to experience this, they understand our culture, we grow as a city and they love us a lot more too.”
The director of ProBarranquilla said that the private sector has an important participation in Barranquilla’s Carnival, so the trend is to think highly of the present and future of the celebration.
For his part, Paul Pelaezdirector of Social, Solidarity and Popular Economy of the Chamber of Commerce of Barranquillapointed out that the task was done in the best way to be able to generate more sponsors for the party and thus strengthen it.
