Mintrabajo led the second meeting to improve conditions for football players

This table was attended by FIFA, ILO and some football clubs Colombian as Independiente Santa Fé, Millonarios, Tigres FC, Llaneros FC, Fortaleza FC, América de Cali, Deportes Tolima and Atlético Nacional.

Dimayor’s president, Fernando Jaramillo, expressed his commitment to make progress in developing a joint agenda that will allow for an agreement to strengthen football.

“We recognize the efforts of the government, of Minister Gloria Inés Ramírez, to create this space for dialogue and to leave a clear message through the Dimayor, which prioritizes the social dialogue that this new government has so often proclaimed. We also agree to the social dialogue, we believe that the best decisions are made through dialogue and we hope that in this space, which has its complexity due to the specifics of professional football in Colombia, we can continue to implement them with the best results,” assured Jaramillo.

For its part, Carlos González Puche, President of ACOLFUTPROexpressed the willingness of the parties and the struggle they have been waging for almost 17 years to guarantee the working conditions of the athletes.
