He added that the measures they have taken are aimed at ensuring a protection of the rights of users of the service transport passenger public.
“He’s being asked about that coercion of control to Viva Air to take the measures of retention of this liability, since from the moment of accounting viewthat money collected from the sale of presale tickets and others is a collection which should be treated as a liability within it bookkeeping and that these funds be guaranteed for their return,” the superintendent explained.
He added that these measures are administrative characterand are related to actions that need to be addressed immediately restore rights of the users.
For its part, the Superintendent of Transportation asked the Superintendency of Companies to conduct the direct corporate reorganization process with the airline Viva Air.
In turn, Transport Minister Guillermo Reyes asked Supertransport to demand the financial statements of all airlines to avoid a situation like Viva’s.
