“We need to find balance and not increase labor costs”: Aliadas

The president of Aliadas, María Claudia Lacouture, assured that one of the great challenges for the country is to promote the generation of formal employment and more income for Colombians.

To analyze the content of the labor reform project, the Aliadas alliance, representing 41 trade unions, met this Friday with the Minister of Labor, Gloria Inés Ramírez.

“We express the importance of achieving a balance in favor of employment without affecting labor costs, which offers more opportunities for Colombians,” said the union leader.

During this meeting, the day shift, nightly overtime, night and Sunday allowances, as well as service and apprenticeship contracts and collective labor agreements were discussed.
