Because making gasoline and diesel costs less today

Prices are dropping today, Monday, March 20, on the fuel grid in Italy. Including the declines reported in the last few days, the average prices applied to the gas pump and, above all, diesel, have actually fallen. Fuel prices at the pump are in sharp decline this morning: the national average for petrol in self-service mode is below 1.86 euro/litre, while that of diesel is 1.8 euro/litre. Why is it cheaper to make gasoline and diesel today? Gas station prices fell after the drop in international oil prices. Brent is around $70, the lowest level since November 2021. Brent is the most traded oil type in the world and referenced by many companies in the sector. Brent (Extracted in the North Sea) and Wti (Out of West Texas Intermediate, extracted in the southern United States) are the two main types of crude oil; These are two baskets taken as a reference by investors and/or speculators from around the world.
