Wingo confirmed that it will increase the operation of its two active routes to the archipelago taking off by 58% from Cartagena and Barranquilla.
From May 21, the airline will offer an additional frequency per week for the route from the Ernesto Cortissoz; and an additional flight per week from April 16, for the route from the Rafael Nunez.
On the other hand, the airline will start a series of charter flights from Bogotá and Medellín to San Andrés on April 1.
In total, for the remainder of 2023, there are 516 additional flights marketed directly by tour operators in Bogotá and Medellín, such as On Vacation, dovecote travel, Mayorplus and tour groups.
By adding charter operations, the airline adds 658 additional flights per year, expand its activities to San Andrés by 112%, thus contributing to the touristic and economic reactivation of the archipelago.
