Coca-Cola FEMSA reports cybersecurity incident

Coca-Cola FEMSA has determined that it has experienced a cybersecurity incident in recent days and has therefore implemented cybersecurity protection and response protocols.

In a related event announcement for the Mexican Stock Exchange, the company announced that it was working with experts on measures to avoid adverse impacts on its IT applications.

While such measures are in place, the company expects to continue its operations with back-up procedures and will prioritize protecting the integrity, confidentiality and availability of its information, according to a note sent to markets.

A forensic examination is currently underway to determine the extent of the cybersecurity incident.
