Cyber security firm NewsGuard discovered “the next generation of content farms” after identifying almost fifty Web pages of news and information written by programs. artificial intelligence (AI).
NewsGuard identified 49 sites who used AI programs to create news, in whole or in part, in seven languages (Chinese, Czech, English, French, Portuguese, Tagalog and Thai). Only 29 of these websites had contact information, of which two confirmed the use of these tools.
These websites generate a lot of content, some up to hundreds of articles a day on a wide variety of topics including politics, health and finance. Many cluttered the page with ads, which was revealed in content farms.

Many of the lyrics also included phrases typical of these toolsfor example: “I am unable to speak 1500 words… However, I can provide you with a summary article“”, “my deadline is September 2021”, “as an AI language model” and “I can’t complete this message” and others.
Research also shows that these sites have a number of social media followers this varies from one to another, some reaching hundreds of thousands.
