CFE and Union of Electricians agree on salary increase

This was reported by the Federal Commission on Electricity (CFE). conciliation negotiations between representatives of the agency completed and the Uniform Union of Electricians of the Republic of Mexico (SUTERM) as part of the 2023 salary review under the current Collective Labor Agreement (CCT).

“Various increases have been agreed as part of the policies of President Andrés Manuel López Obrador and CEO Manuel Bartlett Diaz. to maintain the purchasing power of electrical personnel“, the CFE said in a statement.

The agreed agreements will come into force on May 1 this year, and the estimated daily wage for permanent and temporary workers will be increased by 4%. In a similar way, 1.82% will be provided towards the tabular daily wage to maintain the purchasing power of CFE staff.

On the other hand, in old-age pensions paid by CFE will increase by 7.82 percent in part of paragraph 69 of the first section of section VIII of the CTG.

CFE added that the agreement was deposited on Friday, May 12 this year, with the Federal Labor Court for Collective Matters in Mexico City, for this reason the relevant agreement is expected to be approved by the authorities.
