The Rappi platform confirmed that they will lower the prices of more than 500 products in the family basket in their digital application.
Rappi joins the initiative of the national government, which asked large stores to lower the prices of products to give Colombians a break from buying the products of the family basket and, incidentally, to take care of their finances.
“The advantage we offer our customers at Rappi is that they have the possibility to find different stores and locations in one place. There they can compare prices, find exclusive discounts and without having to leave the house. Today, Colombians can buy on the market or make daily purchases while saving and taking advantage of the various offers that thousands of companies have to manage household finances,” says Andrés Palacio, General Manager Retail Rappi Colombia.
The platform, through its supermarket branch, emphasizes that more than 500 products will fall in price and that several allies such as Almacenes Éxito and Supertiendas Olímpica have joined this initiative, which aims to counter the latest inflation figures of 12.82% in April. its annual variation.
“At Rappi, we want to be the best allies for finances and savings for Colombians. We are not aware of the current situation in the country and we are sure that with the different offers and discounts more people will be able to find the solution that best suits their needs on our platform,” said Palacio.
