The Ministry of Finance adjusts the addition again: it rises to 16 billion dollars

Finance Minister Ricardo Bonilla confirmed that another adjustment is being made in what has to do with the size of the country’s budget addition.

This addition, which was initially expected at $23 billion, caused a drop of $14.7 billion.

But now the panorama is different in terms of numbers as the head of treasury portfolio confirmed that this is being changed again and rising to $16 billion.

“It includes some posts from government entities that are not resources coming out of the tax reform, but resources that crossed the entities and then took advantage of the moment to include them,” said the finance minister.

In this sense, Bonilla stressed that there is still no initial presentation for the budget addition debate.

The minister, in turn, argued that no money will go from this budget addition to the abolition which is currently registering the shortfall of the Fuel Price Stabilization Fund (Fepc).
