Kinga Gajewska announced that after taking office the PO would abolish all taxes for a large part of the Poles.
The unprecedented tax reduction would concern Poles whose income does not exceed PLN 6,000. zloty.
“Our program: If your income does not exceed PLN 6,000, you will not pay a single zloty in taxes throughout the year! A certified teacher who earns PLN 4,550 saves almost PLN 1,700!” – wrote Kinga Gajewska on Twitter.
This is another liberal promise from Civic Platform recently. However, none of the proposals so far have been so radical.
Earlier, Donald Tusk had postulated, among other things: increasing the tax-free amount to 60,000 zlotys, and the Civic Platform itself launched the website www.obnizymypodatki.info, where everyone can calculate how much he would gain by introducing such a solution.
Ws. To introduce the said tax-free amount, the Civic Coalition club introduced a bill to the Sejm in May.
Tax reform was promised by Donald Tusk late last year. The leader of the KO announced the liquidation of the Polish Order, which he called a “mess” and stressed that the concept of a uniform tribute of Prof. Wojciechowski.
The Confederacy scoffs at Gajewska’s proposal
Konfederacja, known for his free market postulates, referred to Kinga Gajewska’s proposal. Politicians of the right-wing formation do not spare malice towards the PO.
“No zloty tax?! It means that we earn up to PLN 6,000, we also do not pay VAT, excise duties and dozens of other contributions, fees and charges?! Do you even know what you are talking about? Can you please provide the text of the law developing this proposal or are you going to let it go? something on the air because the polls don’t match?” — we read on the Confederacy’s official profile.
Another post on the official Konfederacja profile highlighted that KO is “terrified” by recent polls and breaking through “unattainable levels of absurdity”.
“After the billions of promises of social programs, they now promise that when you earn up to PLN 6,000 you will pay NO (!) tax. Do they even know how the tax system works?” – we are reading.
