Has inflation changed Poles’ holiday plans? There’s a poll

Have the Poles changed their holiday plans this year because of the price increases? SW Research has conducted a new study.

In a survey for the rp.pl portal, pollsters from SW Research asked whether Poles have changed their holiday plans this year because of price increases.

SW Research’s Wiktoria Maruszczak indicated that four in ten respondents with higher education have not changed their holiday plans despite the price increase. The stability of vacation plans against inflation increases with age and net income. Four in 10 (41%) people from cities between 100,000 and 199,000 residents did not change their holiday plans, despite the price increases.

The survey was conducted on July 18-19, 2023. The analysis covered a group of 800 Internet users over the age of 18. The sample was chosen at random. The structure of the sample was adjusted using an analytical weight to match the structure of Poles over the age of 18 in terms of key features related to the subject of the study. Socio-demographic variables were taken into account when constructing the weight.
