Three more months to take advantage of the super bonus on single-family homes: Deadline for completion of works is September 30 to December 31, 2023. Innovation is one of the measures approved by the Government with the Bag Decree at the Council of Ministers meeting on 7 August 2023. Among the measures included in the last decree before the summer vacation, therefore, there is a place for the extension of the vacation period. The estimated time for completion of the works is up to three months.
The innovation concerns taxpayers who have completed at least 30% of the planned work as of September 30, 2022. The government’s news is accompanied by the news of Poste Italiane, announcing the resumption of tax credit purchase procedures in a press release dated 8 August.
110% Super Bonus for Villas: Extension until 31 December 2023
The possibility of extending the super bonus had been announced for some time in recent months, even in the face of adverse climatic conditions that in many cases delayed the continuation of construction sites already in progress. Therefore, the Sack decree, which was approved on August 7, confirms the longer time given for the completion of the works. Therefore, the deadline on September 30 is replaced by the new deadline on December 31, 2023, and there is an additional three months for work to be completed and payments to be completed.
In terms of requirements, nothing has changed: the extension will benefit taxpayers who have completed at least 30% of the overall response by September 30, 2022, and therefore could benefit from the possibility of completing everything by September 30, 2022. It keeps the super bonus at 110%. In fact, it should be noted that for those who start business from January 1, 2023, the super bonus for detached houses is equal to 90% of expenses, provided that certain requirements, including income, are met. The limit of 15,000 euros was parameterized on the basis of the composition of family units. In any case, the final text of the decree approved by the Government and its publication in the Official Gazette are awaited for the confirmation of the new developments envisaged.
Poste Italiane reopens its credit transfer platform
The innovations introduced by the bag decree are accompanied by a press release issued by Poste Italiane on 8 August, announcing that credit allocation will be reopened for certain taxpayer categories. In the press release, it is emphasized that the tax credit purchase service, which will start from the first days of October, will be reopened. Tax credits will only be obtained by attribution of natural persons and for initial appointments, up to a maximum of 50,000 Euros. The tax credit purchase channel for the super bonus and housing bonus was closed by Poste Italiane on November 7, 2022.
