Foreign currency inflows from tourism increased by 29% in the first half of 2023

The currency entry tourism represented 57% of total service exports in the first half of the year. Similarly, the average cost per traveler was $1,423, which is 4% less than the $1,588 revealed in the same period of 2022.

“We must continue to work together so that Colombia consolidates itself as one of the most outstanding destinations in the region. It is therefore essential to develop strategies such as expanding air routes, improving the security of the regions and promoting events that highlight the beauty of our destinations and give them more visibility,” said Cortés.
