Carry bonus, stop requests: allocation already exhausted

The platform managed by the Ministry of Labor and Social Policies has taken action to receive the 60 euro transportation bonus that can be claimed as of this morning. Stop asking questions, stocks are already out. 213,280 new bonuses have been published.

Transport bonus, platform disabled

Between 08.00 and 16.51 today, tickets worth 12,221,775 Euros were booked, from the sum of the balance (221,775 Euros) resulting from the non-use of the bonuses requested in September 2023 and the 12 million Euros allocated by the decree that came into force. Valid as of Saturday, September 30th. The Ministry announced that the platform was deactivated at the end of the current budget.

We read on the site: “Due to the temporary exhaustion of financial allocation, it is not possible to process the transportation bonus request.” “The remaining funds that will arise due to the inability to use the bonuses made available in October 2023 will be opened to new applications as of 08:00 in the morning on November 1, 2023. The platform will remain active until the resources are exhausted.”

Despite users queuing (857,594 user logins), the platform managed to manage all requests until resources ran out. Young people especially demanded the bonus (more than half of the beneficiaries are under 30 years old, i.e. 57.2%). The total number of companies operating public transport on national territory and with at least one bonus awarded to them is 1,116. It is at the top of the top 20 Trenitalia with 417,554 coupons issued. In less than six months since the first launch of the Bonustrasporti.lavoro.gov.it platform, 108,769,318.26 euros were distributed, which is equivalent to 2,134,354 bonuses awarded.
