One of the leaders of the Third Way, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, said during an interview what his concept of voluntary SISTER is.
Robert Mazurek asked Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz on RMF about the demands of the Third Way, which he will certainly not give up as part of the coalition government with KO and the Left. Without hesitation, the People’s Party pointed to “voluntary SISTER for entrepreneurs”. After a while, however, it turned out that it was not about voluntary ZUS, but about ‘ZUS holidays’.
‘Voluntary SISTER’, but ‘you have to collect for your pension’
– Voluntary SISTER, i.e. vacations from SISTER – said Kosiniak-Kamysz.
– What does holiday mean? With ZUS holidays you don’t pay ZUS for three months, six months or a year, Mazurek notes.
– In this area, the law is ready and has probably been waiting for treatment in the parliamentary freezer for three years – the PSL leader noted.
Mazurek pointed out again that this is not what “voluntary SISTER” is about. Kosiniak-Kamysz began to present his theory on this issue. – We have always explained it as it is stated in the law you also need to save for your retirement – he started to explain.
– So it’s a lie, not a voluntary SISTER – the journalist intervened. – NO. Voluntary SISTER is an opportunity for the company to survive in difficult times. And that was the difference between us and the Confederation, that we said very clearly that we were creating a program that could be implemented, said the leader of the People’s Party.
Let us not forget that the demand for a voluntary ZUS is included in the program of the Confederation, with the difference that the question is not about “ZUS holidays”, but about the voluntary payment of ZUS by entrepreneurs.
Kosiniak-Kamysz: I rule out a coalition with PiS
When asked about governing with PiS, Kosiniak-Kamysz answered clearly. – I rule out such a coalition because our slogan was either the Third Way or the Third Term of PiS. This slogan had a strong appeal to many voters. Those who voted for us want change, want a change of government, want PiS to be removed from power – said the member of the People’s Party.
The politician was asked whether PSL and Polska 2050 would create two separate clubs in parliament. – Yesterday, when we spoke, after these results, we said this was the way it was written, but of course the Third Way formula worked. I wouldn’t mind having one club either, but we’ll talk when the final results are announced. It wouldn’t be a bad solution either, Kosiniak-Kamysz said.
– I think it will be half and half, the seats that form the Third Way will be distributed according to membership – he said when asked about the potential number of seats of the formation of PSL and Hołownia.
About the Prime Minister’s position, the politician said that there is no point in splitting the bear’s skin for the time being. – All scenarios are possible if the formations can form a coalition, that is, the Senate Pact formations that have concluded the Senate Pact for the second time. There will be a conversation, there will be a decision, he noted.
