Promote the materialization of projects and consolidate a regional economy based on new clean energy arising from the implementation of hydrogen will be part of the challenges that Colombia must address as leader of the Secretariat of the LAC Alliance Clean hydrogen action.
This election recognizes the work carried out by the Colombia Hydrogen Association led by its Executive Director Mónica Gasca, who has promoted the participation of authorities, industries, unions and communities in the implementation of hydrogen in the country’s energy transition, through the joint and collective construction carried out in the regional technical tables launched with the H2 Tour Colombia initiative.
This recognition of Colombia’s regional leadership in hydrogen opens the doors for the country to consolidate itself as one of the largest producers and exporters of low-emission hydrogen at highly competitive prices.
“We have a tough task ahead of us: transforming the traditional energy landscape and building a more sustainable future. “We are at a crucial moment in history when we must accelerate the transition to clean and sustainable energy sources to tackle the challenges of climate change and ensure a prosperous future for generations to come,” said Mónica Gasca.
