Billionaire Elon Musk assured that “the time will come when jobs will no longer be needed.”
Following the Artificial Intelligence (AI) Security Summit at Bletchley Park in the UK, Musk and British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak spoke to an audience of business leaders at Lancaster House in London.
The head of the British government was instructed to ask questions of the tycoon, who described what was happening. AI as a “magical genius” capable of leading humanity to an “age of abundance.”
“We won’t have a universal basic income, we will have a universal high income. In some ways it will be a way to equalize and balance because I truly believe that everyone will have access to this magical genius,” Musk said during the event.

Robots are Musk’s concern
Touching on the topic of robots, the founder of Tesla and owner of the social network X emphasized the need to manufacture them with a mechanism that allows them to be turned off if necessary.
“This is something we should be very concerned about.
“If a robot can follow you anywhere, What happens if one day they get an update? software and stop being so friendly?“, he asked himself.
The founder of the Space X rocket company also spoke about the ability of AI to keep people “company.”
Autonomous systems will be able to “know you better than anyone else, and maybe even know you better,” he said.
“You’re going to have a great friend,” Musk said, explaining that one of his children has “some learning difficulties and friendship issues” and that “an AI friend would really be good for him.” (EFE)
