This was announced by the President of the Business Coordination Council (CCE), Francisco Cervantes Díaz, after a meeting he held with President Andrés Manuel López Obrador at the National Palace.
The businessman explained that hotel chains will open. Las Brisas, Mayan Palace, Imperial World and Princess.
Cervantes Diaz said businessmen and the federal government are working together to rebuild Acapulco.
“We are going to put a lot into this to move it forward,” said the CCE leader, who agreed with President López Obrador that Acapulco could be rebuilt in April 2024.

He admitted that the hotel sector is concerned that they may open in time for the Tianguis Turístico 2024 exhibition.
“The question of how to return to economic recovery is the most important and good point, Tourist Tianguis must carry it out no matter what, and hotels must start opening rooms as soon as possible.”
Cervantes stressed that there was no structural damage to the hotels, only drywall, windows and glass were damaged.
He added that another area of concern besides security in Acapulco is the health issue.
“All the cameras, all the secretariats are working very well. The building department is doing some very important cleaning work right now; Grupo Carso sent all the cars today.
And the most important thing is that right now we have already created a working group on the whole health issue to bring the serums, to bring all the antibiotics, paracetamol and all that, the group is already working very hard, it starts today.”
