– In a normal country, when it comes to the economy, the government is in principle responsible for honoring contracts between citizens and companies. But we live in socialism, which is characterized by the fact that the state is involved in many more things in the economy and sometimes even controls them manually. It certainly collects a lot of money in taxes, so that later it can decide to which social groups or business entities to give the money taken from taxes – said the Vice President of Nowa Nadziea.

Berkowicz added that through an enormous amount of rationing, licensing and sometimes banning business activities, the state is building a complicated system of bureaucracy that hinders small and medium-sized entrepreneurs. – However, big capital is not bothered by this, large companies – in Poland these are generally foreign companies – which can afford a large number of lawyers who will advise on how to find their way through this tangle of regulations and still lobbyists can afford to lobby for a law that will hurt domestic small competition, and it will help businesses because they can afford bribes to lobby for such a law, for example to get low or no taxes pay like large foreign hypermarkets – said the Confederation MP.
