There will be no expropriation for wind farms, assured PSL President Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz. And he responded to Beata Szydło’s words.
A group of MPs from the Civic Coalition and Poland 2050 submitted to the Speaker of the Sejm a draft law amending laws supporting consumers of electricity, gas and heat, and certain other laws.
The project caused great controversy because it significantly facilitates the construction of wind installations, the operation of which is burdensome for local residents and also has a negative impact on nature.
“Bravo, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz. Your colleagues from Trzecia Droga have submitted a bill to the Sejm, which provides for the expropriation of people for wind farms. The bill also includes permission to build wind turbines only 300-400 meters from houses. Villagers I will certainly be very grateful to PSL for this.” – said former Prime Minister and current PiS member Beata Szydło.
Kosiniak-Kamysz: There is no scandal. The situation is difficult
In the program “Guest of Events” on Polsat News, presenter Bogdan Rymanowski asked Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz if we had the first scandal of the new parliamentary majority. – There is no scandal. The situation is difficult. Days have passed since the elections and Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki’s temporary government was established to hold the positions. There is a social expectation that bills will be submitted by the majority that has obtained a democratic mandate. There is a need to reduce energy prices in the new year, and there will be changes in this law – replied the Chairman of the Polish People’s Party. The politician emphasized that the permitted distance between wind farms and houses will be at least 500 meters, and in addition, expropriation for wind farms is not planned.
– This was our election promise: to facilitate the creation of renewable energy sources at sea and on land. Noise standards are being introduced for the first time. The project needs to be improved, consultations will take place. This is the change from the PiS government, which was infallible and did not listen to comments – said the PSL leader.
The People’s Party leader also commented on Beata Szydło’s statement. As Kosiniak-Kamysz noted, PiS is responsible for higher energy prices. – It is good that there are regulations regarding freezing energy prices. In the case of wind turbines, the elements I mentioned must be changed and they will be, he emphasized.
