I am surprised by the hysterical reaction of PiS, said Grzegorz Schetyna, senator of the Civic Platform, referring to the draft of the wind farm law.
A group of MPs from the Civic Coalition and Poland 2050 submitted to the Speaker of the Sejm a draft law amending laws supporting consumers of electricity, gas and heat, and certain other laws.
The project caused great controversy because it significantly facilitates the construction of wind installations, the operation of which is burdensome for local residents and also has a negative impact on nature. The regulations include: possibility of expropriation for the construction of wind turbines. Law and Justice has submitted reports in this case to the Public Prosecution Service and the Central Bureau for Combating Corruption.
Mill Act. ‘I am surprised by the hysterical reaction’
– It is primarily about protecting Polish homes from disastrous and disastrous policies. The idea is to guarantee a shield against the huge price of electricity – said Grzegorz Schetyna, senator of the Civic Platform, in the RMF FM broadcast.
– The so-called wind farm bill project is one of the first of the new parliamentary majority. I don’t want to say that it was written at the knee, but today the power of ministries, the Legislative Center of the government and everything that is needed to write good legislation cannot be used for this purpose. I don’t think there will be any controversial provisions there, because we will talk about everything, the PO politician said. – I have already heard voices, for example from President Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, that PSL has a different opinion on specific provisions. We will talk about it openly. I am surprised by PiS’s hysterical response, he added.
Schetyna: Everything has been explained
Grzegorz Schetyna was asked whether Paulina Hennig-Kloska, nominated for the new Climate Minister, should lose her chance to take over the ministry because of the wind farm bill. – I don’t see any possibility of taking personal responsibility if a government has not been formed. I don’t see a bad context in this case, the senator said.
– I think everything has been explained (…). This government will function differently. There will be no legislation here as in the past eight years, i.e. MPs introduce government projects without public consultation so that they can be adopted more quickly in the Sejm and the Senate – said a Civic Platform politician.
